Anita Chowdry

Instructor

Anita Chowdry is a London based artist and academic with 30+ years' experience in teaching and demonstrating at major academic and cultural institutions worldwide. Recognized as an authority in her practical research on Persian manuscripts and pigments, she is an acknowledged master in the hand-preparation of gold and mineral colours for manuscript painting. Anita is a practicing artist, with an MFA from Central Saint Martin's, University of the Arts London, and a Bahari Visiting Fellow in Persian Arts of the Book at the Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford.
